What is this course about:

This is a two-year course concerned with all aspects of Science. You will complete a range of activities including practical experiments, research activities and written projects to extend your knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will study a range of core and optional units over two years. This course will extend your scientific knowledge and is an excellent foundation for many different career pathways.

What you will study:

You will study a range of topics on the fundamentals of science, science within society and methods of investigating science. Within this course you will also complete some NEA units on topics such as:
• Analytical Techniques in Chemistry
• Forensic Biology
• Environmental Studies
• Forensic Medical Physics

How you will be assessed:

The qualification is made up of a combination of both internal coursework units and external exams.
